Oral treatment of enteric infections, to reduce microbe numbers in the colon prior to colon surgery, and oral or enema administration to reduce ammonia-producing bacteria in the treatment of hepatic encephalopathy. Kaolin/pectin is used primarily for veterinary medicine as an oral anti-diarrheal agent. It has also been used as an adsorbent agent following the ingestion of certain toxins. Administration may be difficult due to the large volumes that may be necessary to give orally.

Dosage
N.B: Shake well before use.
Orally or with drinking water
Lambs and small Calves: 15 ml per 25 Kg for 3 – 5 days.
Sheep and Calves: 25 ml per 40 Kg for 3 –5 days.
Cattles: 100 ml per 250 Kg for 3 – 5 days.
Storage
Store in a clean, dry, cool place (< 25 ˚C) and keep away from direct sunlight.
